Could this be our first home?

Patrick and I have been looking at houses and last week we looked at one that was a long shot. Turns out that long shot may be ours. Here are a few photos, albeit not great ones, of the house that just might be our home sweet home.

The front of the house.

The living room.

The main bedroom. The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

First tooth

Jack has officially cut his first tooth! Suprisingly, getting a picture of it has not been easy so far. I will try to get one and post it. So many changes in the sixth month.

Crooked River

We are trying to get the most out of the final days before Patrick goes back to work by taking day trips in our new homeland. Yesterday we did a hike to Chimney Rock and then spent time by the Crooked River before checking out Prineville and heading home.

Giggles

While the freshly cleaned carpets were drying downstairs in preparation for crawling, we introduced Jack to some of his stuffed animals upstairs. He was amused and, like both his parents, had a preference towards the stuffed monkey. Monkey.

Swimming Lesson Graduation

Jack graduated from his swimming lessons on Thursday! Okay, it wasn't a true graduation (skills weren't tested) nor was it really a promotion (he isn't old enough to advance) but he did get a certificate so that's something! Something special.

Another First!

Jack drank milk from a sippy cup for the first time today. As you can see in the video, he prefers to do it himself. Mr. Independent!

So Many Firsts

Jack rolled over for the first time (yesterday), attended his first swimming lesson (today) and ate his first solid food (also today) this week. We will try to post a video of him rolling soon. He wasn't sure what to make of the smashed banana, but kept eating it as long as we offered more. Here is a video of this milestone. Jack is such a big boy!
