Trip to Portland- Ending Early
On Thursday morning, we woke up to a baby with congestion and a cough. We decided to cut our trip short and head back so that he could recuperate in the comforts of home. He slept the whole way back to Bend. He has been in pretty good spirits despite his cold but we were all definitely bummed that we did not get to make it down to you Eugene to see his Aunt Becky, Uncle Beau and cousins, Hazel, Henley and Richie. Soon!
Trip to Portland- Meeting up with the old co-workers
We had the chance to meet up with our friends that we worked with at the Dreamer program and later we swung by PCC to say hello to our friends there as well. It was so nice to see you all- we miss you guys!

This photo is great and the best part is that the boys are holding hands!

Ellington, who is teething, sees the chewing potential in Jack's chubby arms

Patrick and Ellington spend some guy time together amongst all the ladies

Meginn gets some practice in before her own little girl arrives in August. Congrats, Meginn!

Julie and I share a moment with Ellington.

When we arrived at PCC they had written "Welcome Back Jack!" on the sidewalk and had signs that read the same thing. How sweet is that?

Stacie and Jack love each other. Jack, however, does not want to appear easy so he has played hard to get with Stacie.

Hang in there Stacie! Really, he loves you!

For our friends at PCC that we missed, we took a photo of ourselves in their work space and e-mailed it to them. Proof of our visit.

Jack's Six Week Check Up
Jack had his six week check up where he got his first round of vaccines. Jack did not appreciate the doctor in his business so he gave him a bit of a Jack Attack (changing the doctor's mind on having Jack 'cry it out') but he took the shots with hardly a cry. What a character our little guy is.
Here are his stats and percentiles for his age. Way to grow, Jack!
14 lbs 11oz - 100+%
24 1/4 inches long-95%

The weigh in.
I just adore this picture of Jack with his 'battle' bandaids.

Jack's Very Active Social Life
When Jack was born, two of our friends from our birthing class were also at the hospital. Megan and Mike had there little girl, Maya, Thursday, the first day we were there. Cate and Jeremy came in the next day, Friday. On Saturday morning when it was determined that I would need a c-section, they came in and informed us that they had another mom in the same position- it was Cate. Cate went first. Our sons were born about a hour apart by the same doctors and both weighed in as 8++ pounders. I love that they were born on the same day (and that we have them to share this journey with)!

Cate, Azuelas 'Azi', Jack and Bonnie. Azi was a rock star and only fussed once- when Jack gave him the stare down. Jack groused a little bit- but he is new to hosting so we understood.

You may not be surprised to learn that Jack was the stabilizer for this photo. (Maya was born 6lbs 9oz and is now a little over 9 lbs. Jack is over 12lbs now.) I believe Maya was a bit of a flirt!
